RANA has been involved in projects of economic upliftment, environment conservation and philanthropy. It has undertaken “Rainwater Harvesting” and “Well Replenishing” projects in association with the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani. RANA plans to initiate these water projects in three villages and make them the Role model for other parts in Rajasthan to provide adequate and clean water. We have made a fast progress in water harvesting and consider it potential to end the perennial drought problem in Rajasthan’s rain deficit and arid areas.
Assistance to various clinics and hospitals has been provided through installation of the state of art medical equipments and technologies. RANA is funding construction, development and upkeep of healthcare infrastructure in rural Rajasthan. We have also helped starting of mobile hospitals in remote areas through ambulance services, regular camps and daily medical team visits.
RANA has been the pioneer in establishing and revamping education in Rajasthan. We have constructed schools equipped with all necessary facilities to ensure access of children to better education. The Scholarship Fund has been assisting many needy students for higher education. Our tie up with the Akshaya Patra Foundation is intended to provide universal mid-day meals to children and fight the scourge of hunger and malnutrition in India.
We are also working to improve the design and use of the famous Jaipur Foot so that the disable have better mobility. RANA’s charitable activities include helping disabled people financially to have high-quality, durable artificial limbs and other aids and appliances.
